Digital nomads traveling North America

Where we stayed: Sentinel Peak RV Park

How long we stayed: 1 week

Tucson was an interesting stop for us. For only one week, we had a lot of strange things happen!

Shen Yun

While on the interstate, Paige noticed a billboard for Shen Yun. If you are an American citizen who's ever been to any major city, you know what kind of billboard I'm talking about. She was so excited by the prospect, she bought tickets immediately. Her words were, "We're going to get cultured!"

Little did we know.

On the positive side, the visuals of Shen Yun are quite beautiful. But the political and religious undertones were unexpected. So, tread lightly my friends.

Airplane Graveyard Tour

If you do ever find yourself in Tucson, go to the Pima Air and Space Museum. Granted, as you know from our history, we are (were?) frequent fliers, so airplanes will always be fascinating to us. But, this museum also runs tours of the "airplane graveyard," officially known as AMARG, at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. This was a strangely interesting bus tour (you are not allowed off the bus).

Saguaro National Park

Did you know that saguaro's are super old, and super cool?! I didn't. We went to both halves of the Saguaro National Park in Tucson, and each was very cool. One day, I hope to own a house with a saguaro in the front yard. They could live pretty much anywhere, right? Or do you think they'd drown in a wet climate? Hmm.

We were only in Tucson for a week so that we could get to the Casa Grande Xscapers Convergence. We wish we could have stayed longer, so we'll probably be back!
